Great news for our fellow Filipinos in the navy!
The Philippine Navy received international recognition on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, for being one of the best organizations in the area of strategy execution. The organization was even inducted into the Hall of Fame (HOF) of the Palladium Balanced Scorecard (BSC).
The news was shared to the press by the Director of the Naval Public Affairs Office, Naval Captain Lued L. Lincuna.
The prestigious and esteemed award was given during the 2017 Palladium Summit in London, United Kingdom, and was received by Rear Admiral Gaudencio C. Collado Jr., Chief of the Philippine Naval Staff. With him was Captain Armil M. Angeles, Director of the Center for Naval Leadership and Excellence.
In accepting the accolade, Rear Admiral Gaudencio C. Collado Jr. stated that the award is both a seal of approval, and a challenge to the organization to continue growing, learning and innovating in its pursuance of its vision.
He stated that the recognition is very much welcomed, and serves as a constant reminder for the Philippine Navy to remain committed in reaching its aspirations.
The Philippine Navy is also the first ever national government agency in the Philippines to have ever joined and was inducted in the BSC Hall of Fame.
